How do you start running when you hate it?

You gonna ask, why running?

Because I’m taking a break from an 8-year relationship – I love him but I can’t stand him anymore… Because I’m 41 and I’d like to have a kid and dogs and I don’t. Because I have a parental family that loves me, but they burden me with their problems… Because I’m one of the many people who went to therapy and who have read Lena and saw the true (feminist) light, and now they want to start running (literally and figuratively).

So, what kind of equipment does a absolute beginner need? Shoe brands, sports bras, water and cell phone bags, anything else I haven’t thought of… Any ideas welcome.
